The primary responsibility of this role is to perform Digital Engineering studies offline utilizing 3D simulation software (develop virtual robot programs and confirm process feasibility) in support of New Model implementation to North America Manufacturing Centers. This role will also include programming robots at manufacturing or vendor facilities, supporting equipment preparation, other production related studies, development of Weld Schedules and other supporting documentation, and department efficiency/improvement initiatives. Reporting to the DE Project Manager, the person in this role will support the Body PE department's objective to provide new model processes to the manufacturing facilities which meet all targets for Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Compliance, while continuously improving our processes.
