About the role
The Technical Recruiter will support requisitions in R&D, delivering talent acquisition strategies through advanced sourcing and engaging candidates.
Responsibilities
- Consult with hiring managers to present effective recruiting strategies that deliver high-quality candidates.
- Proactively source and build candidate pipelines for key positions including software engineers, firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, technical disciplines, corporate roles, and operations.
- Fully maximize all available candidate recruitment channels: social media, employee referral program, job fairs, networks, cold calling, etc.
- Provide best-in-class candidate experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruitment process.
- Participate at in-person recruiting events onsite, high schools, colleges, and local job fairs.
- Create sourcing plans to attract diverse candidates to Brady Corporation.
- Post jobs to standard and niche job boards such as LinkedIn & Indeed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or related field.
- Proven Tech Pedigree: 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring complex roles (Software Engineers, DevOps, Product Managers, Data Architects).
- A strong understanding of the tech landscape, engineering languages, frameworks, and how to speak the language of engineering leaders and candidates.
- Skills in building relationships with both candidates and hiring managers to help drive position closure.
- Expertise in utilizing advanced sourcing techniques (boolean search, GitHub, Stack Overflow, X-raying, and niche talent communities) to uncover passive, diverse candidates.
- Ability to research and present new sourcing options to a team of corporate recruiters.
- Proactive approach to leveraging AI sourcing and automation tools to minimize manual administrative tasks.
