Sr. Technical Program Manager, Platform Engineering & Services

Key job responsibilities

• Working closely with scientists, product managers and stakeholders to take use cases and requirements and turn them into successful projects
• Continuously drive improvements to existing systems and processes
• Liaising between stakeholders and engineering teams to launch product features, beta programs, and manage change
• Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical constraints
• Identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating issues and risks at multiple levels
• Driving effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Service Level Agreements (SLAs) used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
