About the role

The Team AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the AI and HPC landscape. Our mission is to design and market exceptional products—anchored by our Instinct™ GPU portfolio—that power the next generation of computing in enterprise data centers, cloud, and supercomputing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define, plan and drive project plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules by considering various components such as equipment availability, SW/FW schedules, and adjacent validation schedules.
  • Hands-on to analyze, assign, and track detailed project tasks. Track performance against the plan of record to proactively resolve critical issues to maintain schedule.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders outside of the CSE organization including external vendors to ensure deliverables meet or exceed requirements.
  • Effectively manage incoming issue tickets and work with cross functional teams and internal teams to prioritize and help drive issues to resolution with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven Program Management experience in a dynamic and competitive industry requiring large-scale integration of varying components, particularly within SW/HW or semiconductor engineering based organizations.
  • Good understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to fluidly participate in emergent conversations with stakeholders, and to create and evolve action plans.
  • Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented and results-oriented.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment and competing priorities and tight turnaround times.
  • Engineering background preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts and low-level toolchains is an asset.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI and Excel is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
