About the role
We're seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager in Charlotte, NC (or Herndon, VA, Seattle, WA, or Atlanta, GA) to oversee data center build projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional and technical teams from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, budget, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Use judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones
- Manage capital budgets, eliminate non-value-add activity, design solutions, remove blockers, and find creative ways to accelerate project delivery
- Apply a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle
- Exhibit demonstrated experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking
- Manage end-to-end DC build scope from site identification through delivery of server capacity to the customer
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical fields
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communicator (both written and verbal)
- Comfortable with ambiguity and competing priorities
- Capable of understanding mechanical/electrical engineering concepts
- Experience with MS Office, MS Project, and MS SharePoint
- Experience with Tableau, KanBan, Playbook, SQL, and systems integration is a plus
Pay
Base salary range: $148,700 - $201,200 USD annually (depending on location and qualifications). Compensation package also includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
