What You’ll Do
- Drives execution and delivery of technical projects through full delivery life cycle ensuring project is delivered timely and on-budget.
- Works with engineering teams, including Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and leadership to establish processes across all program areas that will ensure success on strategically prioritized projects and improve efficiency.
- Defines, optimizes, and manages Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large project teams.
- Manages hardware/software procurement of assigned projects.
- Develops a program plan comprised of parallel projects and multiple project managers that collectively produce work that has significant business impact.
- Maintains and adjusts program plan to respond to unplanned changes, ensuring program is progressing to meet business goals.
- Implements fiscal practices and controls, authorizing, recording, and reporting on program expenditures & ROI.
- Develops infrastructure needed to support the program.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of technical project/program management experience working with technical teams developing enterprise class solutions.
- Understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, database technologies, technologist roles and responsibilities, capabilities & platform dependencies, software development lifecycle, engineering and/or product development.
- Influence and negotiation, communication, professional maturity & organizational savvy, relationship building, dependency mapping.
- Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall as well as extensive experience with pragmatic blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery.
- Deep understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD).
- Significant experience in coaching and mentoring teams on project management practices including Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall.
- Excellent ability to understand architectural and technical aspects of a project.
- Experience managing large project budgets.
- Experience with tools such as: Microsoft suite, Keynote, Smartsheet, MyPPM (Clarity), MyJira, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience in supporting large-scale, global software development programs.
- Agile Certifications ie CSM; ACP; CPO; SAFe; LeSS.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $120,400 to $161,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
