About the role

As a Client Field/Computer Technician, you will be assigned service requests to repair laptops and desktops in the metro area. Assignments include replacing hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, performing whole unit swaps, and repairing or replacing PC peripherals. You must have reliable transportation to service the metro and surrounding areas and will close service tickets in real time using the client call management system and company‑provided phone.

Responsibilities

• Repair laptops and desktops, including component replacements such as hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
• Perform whole unit swaps and repair or replace PC peripherals.
• Travel between sites as needed (non‑driving role but may require driving).
• Close service tickets in real time using the client call management system.
• Maintain communication via the company‑provided phone.

Qualifications

• Own reliable car and car insurance.
• 1+ years of hands‑on experience with laptop and desktop break‑fix.
• Computer‑building background preferred.
• General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including basic Microsoft applications.
• Ability to resolve basic/non‑complex problems as directed.
