Sr. Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct daily activities of operators producing ceramic powders using complex and technical processing equipment
• Ensure production schedules are met with a strong focus on quality, yield, and on-time delivery
• Operate and support setup of advanced materials processing equipment, ensuring adherence to work instructions and process standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and PPE requirements
• Lead and encourage a collaborative team environment dedicated to meeting departmental goals and objectives

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, materials processing, or powder production environments. Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical manufacturing setting preferred
• Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities. Advanced knowledge of materials processing equipment and manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret production data and drive data-informed decisions. Solid understanding of safety, quality, and operational best practices. Effective communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce. Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking tools

Work Environment & Details

• Location: Center for Advanced Materials – Golden, CO
• Schedule: Full-time, day shift or swing shift
• Work Type: Hands-on leadership role in a manufacturing environment

Target Hiring Range

Hourly: USD 29.98 - USD 36.63

Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
