Sr Tax Counsel

Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Tax Counsel to become a member of our State Tax Planning team. Our in-house tax department is a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of various worldwide tax projects, including analyzing relevant tax law for tax planning transactions;
• Working with foreign and domestic tax advisors to understand relevant tax rules;
• Partnering with multiple business units to understand both domestic and foreign tax implications;
• Reviewing financial models to illustrate the tax consequences of various alternatives;
• Communicate complex technical tax issues to Senior Management and internal/external stakeholders;
• Negotiate, draft and review tax provisions in deal documents;
• Prepare and review technical tax memoranda;
• Manage and develop team members;

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Juris Doctorate
• Experience: 8+ years
• Member in Good Standing of State Bar

Preferred Qualifications

• LLM - Master of Laws
