Robert Half is partnering with a well-established client in the St. Louis area to fill a Senior Talent Acquisition role. This position leads full-cycle recruiting for a wide range of positions, from high-volume production roles to technical, professional, and engineering talent, while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly, corporate, and specialized positions, from intake planning through offer completion.
- Build diverse candidate pipelines through sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and market outreach to meet staffing demand efficiently.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role expectations, align on selection criteria, and improve hiring decisions across departments.
- Oversee onboarding activities that help new employees transition successfully and support strong engagement during the first 90 days.
- Maintain compliance throughout the employee lifecycle by applying federal, state, and multi-state employment requirements accurately.
- Track recruiting performance indicators such as time-to-fill, quality of placement, retention, and workflow effectiveness to drive better outcomes.
- Manage relationships with external staffing partners and search firms, including performance monitoring and service quality expectations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting, onboarding, and compliance processes, including optimization of applicant tracking and HR systems.
- Support recruitment across multiple sites and adapt recruiting strategies to meet changing business needs and workforce volumes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience managing full-cycle recruiting for both high-volume hiring and salaried or specialized roles.
- Proven ability to administer onboarding programs with measurable impact on employee success and retention.
- Demonstrated experience handling HR compliance requirements across hiring, onboarding, and broader employment processes.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi-state employment laws and related regulations.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems; familiarity with Paycom recruiting, onboarding, and compliance tools is highly valued.
- Background working with agency partners, multi-site organizations, or environments such as manufacturing, distribution, or operations-focused businesses is preferred.
- Relevant recruiting or HR certifications are a plus.
