Sr Tableau Report Developer

About the role

The consultant will participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support both existing .NET applications and the new SACWIS/CCWIS system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau reports.
• Assist in database architecture design, including data marts, dictionaries, and logical/physical models.
• Develop strategies for data acquisition, quality, and discrepancy resolution.
• Support data migration and integration from legacy to modern platforms.
• Develop and maintain complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Access and integrate data from DB2, SQL Server, and other databases.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT solutions for ingestion, cleansing, and distribution.
• Apply data analytics best practices and near-real time data solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and end users to validate requirements.
• Integrate external data sources with in-house systems.
• Test, validate, and reconcile ETL data flows.
• Design and implement data conversion strategies.
• Optimize SSIS packages and SQL performance.
• Design SSIS packages for FTP/SFTP file transfers.
• Participate in all SDLC stages: requirements, mapping, extraction, loading, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, optimization, and maintenance.
• Deploy Tableau reports to Tableau Server / integrated SharePoint Report Server.
• Create advanced Tableau reports including dynamic grouping and sorting, drill-down and summary reports, and on-demand sub-reports.
