Responsibilities

  • Apply systems safety methodologies defined by industry standards
  • Develop processes for certifying autonomous and remote operations
  • Create processes for generating safety artifacts such as FHAs and Safety Assessments for various systems and aircraft
  • Conduct safety assessments to support flight operations
  • Collaborate with systems teams to validate safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in safety engineering for safety-critical aerospace systems
  • Proven ability to independently solve complex problems
  • Strong collaborative skills working cross-functionally across organizations
