Responsibilities
- Apply systems safety methodologies defined by industry standards
- Develop processes for certifying autonomous and remote operations
- Create processes for generating safety artifacts such as FHAs and Safety Assessments for various systems and aircraft
- Conduct safety assessments to support flight operations
- Collaborate with systems teams to validate safety requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in safety engineering for safety-critical aerospace systems
- Proven ability to independently solve complex problems
- Strong collaborative skills working cross-functionally across organizations
