Sr. Systems Administrator (Active Directory)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate a virtualized data center environment utilizing VMware and Dell/EMC server and storage technologies.
• Install, support, and maintain servers—including performance tuning, system-wide configuration, and storage allocation.
• Protect system integrity, confidentiality, and availability through robust patch management, antivirus oversight, and data backup/restoration.
• Diagnose and resolve service outages, technical inquiries, and system-related issues.
• Conduct system analysis and implement updates to keep technologies modern and effective.
• Update documentation, support configuration management, and resolve reported issues.
• Partner with the security team on upgrades, compliance, and system security initiatives.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support personnel.

Qualifications

• Required: Active TS/SCI clearance
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Required: Minimum 5 years of relevant IT/System Administration experience
• Required: Security+ certification
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Server 2019, Microsoft Windows 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, or VMware
