Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Successfully execute reporting and analytics.
- Analyzes data to make proactive recommendations / solutions to drive and enhance sustainability performance.
- Builds data visualizations to enable the business to more easily explore data.
- Works cross-functionally with multiple departments to provide required analytics and insights needed to support the business needs.
- Becomes an expert on sustainability data and works closely with engineering to improve the data models.
- Develops models that explore our data that yield additional insights into the business.
- Documents, evaluates and improves design of reports and processes to ensure that analytical tools evolve as the business changes.
- Develops trend analyses and other quantitative reports to determine business trends.
- Presents key insights through data visualization and analysis, covering a range of sustainability topics such as climate strategy, employee engagement, corporate governance -- amongst many others.
- Helps the team better understand all quantitative aspects of the business by delivering key insights through data visualization and analysis.
- Identifies, assesses, monitors, manages, and reports risks of all types while operating within the Bank's risk appetite.
- Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Business Administration, sustainability, computer science, mathematics, economics, physics, or other quantitative discipline preferred.
- Equivalent work experience: Typically requires three+ years of experience in a data analytics role or sustainability experience.
- Consumer lending, credit solutions and sustainable finance and banking experience preferred.
- Community lending and finance with focus on renewable energy and resiliency-related banking solutions experience preferred.
- Exceptional ability to review, analyze, gain insights, and present conclusions from complex qualitative data.
- Comprehensive understanding of sustainability metrics, reporting standards, and sustainability writing and reporting experience.
- Advance Excel experience with the ability to manipulate data using formulas, pivot tables, macros, and modeling.
- Superb written and oral communication skills; ability to present information succinctly and visually in PowerPoint.
- Self-motivation and self-starter skills, proactive, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across departments to achieve mutually beneficial results.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather information quickly and to synthesize into actionable information.
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.
- Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screens.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
