Sr. Supply Chain Product Manager, AWS Power & Cooling Procurement - Liquid Cooling
About the role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. This role is part of the AIS Power & Cooling team, focusing on New Production Introduction (NPI) and sourcing management for Liquid Cooling Data Center Power & Cooling Equipment.
As a member of the Power and Cooling Supply Chain and Procurement Team, you will manage the global New Product Introduction Program Management for Liquid Cooling equipment categories, ensuring equipment and suppliers meet technical and commercial specifications for AWS Data Center build projects. This position is located in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Finance, Sourcing/Supply-chain, Legal, and Technical Program Management teams to qualify new products or new designs of existing equipment.
- Drive product from NPI to global scale while mitigating potential supply risks and cost uplifts.
- Develop Scope of Work (SOW) for new initiatives and clearly define milestones.
- Develop, implement, and manage supply chain scaling strategies on a global scale.
- Drive the strategic aspects of large, complex cross-functional projects.
- Drive innovation through the supply chain and influence industry practices.
- Develop analytical reports to deliver information to business partners and stakeholders that support improved decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for customers, technologies, and markets.
- Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
- Identify and drive realization of opportunities for sustainable, scalable, relative advantage in your category.
- Travel up to 15% of the year.
Requirements
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services (e.g., Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking).
- 5+ years of experience working with Business Application Technologies (e.g., End User Compute, Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service).
- 5+ years of experience solving problems with technology in one or more of the following industries: Healthcare/Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, Global Financial Services, Telecommunications, Automotive & Manufacturing, or Energy & Utilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
- 5+ years of experience working with Advanced Compute technologies (e.g., Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, IoT).
- 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (e.g., Mainframe, Serverless, Containers).
- 5+ years of experience working with Data & AI related technologies (e.g., AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
- 5+ years of experience in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and/or advertising technology.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
- Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences.
- Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and span business and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
- Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large-scale operations, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting.

Pay
Base salary range: $147,900.00 - $200,100.00 USD annually (locations: Austin, TX; Seattle, WA). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
