About the role

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Topology Planning is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager for North America (NA) Topology Planning. This role involves owning the mid to long-term topology strategy, managing short and long-term build plans, and optimizing the topology engine for AMZL delivery station planning. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions, including transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operations, and sales and operation planning. This is a high-visibility role with regular interaction with leadership and involvement in critical decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end topology strategy in operations planning and monthly topology planning cycles.
  • Manage build plans and network portfolio for Amazon Logistics.
  • Build and improve the topology optimization engine for Amazon delivery station planning.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across supply chain functions such as outbound transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operations, and sales and operation planning.
  • Develop and implement ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes, creating additional value, and driving automation.
  • Identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance using data and persuasion.
  • Deliver end-to-end technology and operations projects while working through obstacles.
  • Communicate expectations and requirements effectively with both business and technology teams.
  • Write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals.
  • Perform data analysis and utilize problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field.
