Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality improvement initiatives to achieve and maintain compliance with Honeywell's quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits to evaluate capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address and prevent quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality concerns and enhance supplier performance.
• Monitor supplier quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies, including supplier audits and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in driving supplier performance improvement initiatives and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience with quality metrics monitoring and cross-functional collaboration to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Familiarity with industry quality standards and regulatory requirements applicable to supplier quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience leading supplier quality improvement projects and driving continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies or certification.
• Strong project management skills and ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers.
• A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to quality excellence.
