Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Position Overview

The Sr Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for driving supplier improvements in the areas of Quality, Delivery and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
• Minimum three (3) years Supplier and/or Quality Engineering experience working with quality systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Aerospace and/or Automotive suppliers
• Experience with using SAP
• Experience with complex machining suppliers
• Experience with Special processes suppliers (Heat Treating, Plating, Painting)
• Familiar with major Aerospace primes Quality System, as well as working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9001:2016
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean tools

Skills

• Significant experience with Supplier Performance Management, Supplier Corrective Actions and Nonconforming Material Dispositions, MRB
• Experience with Dock-to-Stock and Skip-lot Programs
• Experience with Supplier Improvement Programs, Supplier Quality Plans
• Willingness to travel locally and nationally to supplier sites
