Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of steel fabrication projects, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds the company's high standards.
  • Manage all contract negotiations and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Use strategic planning to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and satisfied.
  • Implement cost control measures to ensure the project remains within budget.
  • Use negotiation skills to resolve disputes and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and any other legal or regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on steel fabrication.
  • Proven experience in steel fabrication projects over 2,000 tons.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong skills in cost control and risk management.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Pay

$135,000 - $175,000 per year
