This role is with a rapidly growing company in the steel fabrication industry, specializing in large-scale commercial construction projects primarily located in the Midwest.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of steel fabrication projects, including planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets or exceeds the company's high standards.
- Manage all contract negotiations and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
- Use strategic planning to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Communicate regularly with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and satisfied.
- Implement cost control measures to ensure the project remains within budget.
- Use negotiation skills to resolve disputes and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and any other legal or regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on steel fabrication.
- Proven experience in steel fabrication projects over 2,000 tons.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Strong skills in cost control and risk management.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Pay
$135,000 - $175,000 per year
