Responsibilities

Lead and design facilities such as water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities for water and wastewater plants and conveyance and storage systems.
Develop project specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings and technical specifications with the support of local and national experts.
Work with a variety of smart and 3D software tools.
Collaborate with multi-discipline project teams.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis and a Masters degree in structural engineering is a plus.
Extensive years experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
Alternatively heavy civil (dams and hydro-electric), industrial or mining experience will be considered.
Construction phase support services for the types of projects listed above.
Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget.
Experience working in a multi-discipline project teams.
Experience with structural design and analysis software (STAAD, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, MathCAD).
Experience with office programs (WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams) and review software (BlueBeam).

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $130,000.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
