Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the Role

The Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager role is responsible for driving strategic and operational sourcing activities across multiple categories including HR, Finance, Tax, and others. This position ensures value-driven supplier selection and manages sourcing to support business objectives, govern spending, and minimize contractual risks while fostering strong partnerships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection to achieve year-over-year savings on over $600M spend
• Apply expertise in category management and sourcing across designated areas
• Ensure sourcing supports business enablement, spend governance, and risk reduction
• Manage sourcing and contracting processes including evaluation, negotiation, and contract renewal
• Identify and implement sourcing industry trends to enhance strategic sourcing practices
• Build and maintain partnerships with business functions for consultation
• Communicate sourcing strategies and tactics to key business partners
• Collaborate with legal to ensure global contracting best practices

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in strategic and operational sourcing and procurement
• Expertise in Professional Services and related sub-categories
• Proven ability to build and lead teams and manage service partners
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of contract development and legal considerations
• Project management capabilities and customer-focused mindset
• Experience developing and implementing strategy and governance in dynamic environments
• Analytical, strategic, execution-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Understanding of financial concepts and business case development
• Relevant industry designations such as CPP or CPPM; MBA preferred

Pay

Base pay range of $139,900 to $244,800 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Compensation varies based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and work location.
