Sr Strategic Sourcing Manager

For our client, a leader in the Information Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their team. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier selection to generate savings on over $600M spend annually
• Ensure sourcing activities provide value and minimize risk across the business
• Manage sourcing and contract processes, including negotiations and relationship renewals with suppliers
• Identify and apply sourcing industry trends to elevate strategic sourcing practices
• Strengthen partnerships with various business functions for enhanced consultations
• Communicate the strategic direction of sourcing to key business partners for better integration with company goals
• Collaborate with the legal department to ensure robust contracting practices globally

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement, particularly in Professional Services categories
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and cultivate strong relationships
• Expertise in contract development and managing legal considerations
• Strong project management abilities with a customer-focused approach
• Analytical and strategic mindset, with a history of effective communication with stakeholders and executives
• Financial acumen including budget formulation and business case development; industry designations like CPP or CPPM preferred
• MBA degree is advantageous

Pay

$139,900 – $244,800 annually
