Sr. Staff Technical Architect, Unified Trading

Responsibilities

• Own and architect the real-time risk and margin engine for cross-asset evaluation
• Design low-latency systems that maintain high performance under scale
• Drive reliability and performance metrics for risk-critical systems
• Uphold technical standards through reviews and code quality processes
• Mentor engineers to create a resilient team structure and minimize single-point failures
• Collaborate with Product, Trading, and Compliance to translate technical vision into actionable plans

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in backend engineering with a focus on distributed systems
• Proven architecture experience in cross-asset risk systems across crypto, equities, derivatives, or FCM
• Strong knowledge of low-latency Java programming and high-throughput messaging technologies
• Expertise in risk management related to margin, borrow, and multifactor scenarios in regulated environments
• Track record of full project lifecycle management from design to deployment
• Experience in leveraging generative AI for enhanced workflow efficiency
