Overview

The Chick-fil-A Supply Sr. Staff Selection Advisor is a highly skilled individual who leads and manages talent acquisition practices to ensure the proper and effective identification and placement of talent. They partner with Hiring Managers, Leaders, and Interview teams to clearly understand their strategy and business needs and lead them through the selection process. They lead the recruitment and interview process and act as the key contact for candidates. Responsibilities include developing recruiting strategies to support the start-up of new and existing Distribution Center locations, creating diversity recruitment strategies, attending college campus and industry events, and supporting Chick-fil-A Supply Services openings when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships with contacts at all levels of the organization
  • Manage full-cycle selection process, including data collection and analysis from beginning to end of the recruiting process in the applicant tracking system, as well as internal team resources as needed
  • Make decisions to advance or decline candidates
  • Drive interview and selection process while maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers
  • Collaborate with key internal clients to understand business strategy, direction, and talent needs
  • Utilize strategy information from key businesses/functions to develop a proactive talent strategy
  • Source active and passive candidates to provide a strong interview slate to hiring teams
  • Develop diversity recruiting strategies to build a pipeline of talent and ensure a diverse slate of candidates is presented to Hiring Managers
  • Generate a high volume and high-quality pipeline of candidates through advanced sourcing techniques
  • Ensure remarkable candidate experience
  • Lead requisition consult debrief meetings
  • Represent Staff Selection Strategy at Leadership Team Meetings
  • Perform work under limited supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters
  • Work with wide latitude for unreviewed action or decision on most outcomes
  • Lead or direct larger projects independently
  • Plan and direct projects and/or outcomes and provide technical leadership and consultation to others with independent decision-making authority
  • Represent the organization in outside discussions and technical forums
  • Assist with the selection and/or oversight (including financial and/or budgetary management) of outside partners and professionals to effectively deliver outcomes and results
  • Monitor and consult on industry workforce trends
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards team on compensation & leveling
  • Consistently meet or exceed time-to-offer and time-to-fill targets established annually for distribution centers
  • Consistently meet or exceed service level agreements established for each recruitment stage
  • Support interview training and coach interviewers on hiring best practices
  • Support training and onboarding of new talent acquisition team members

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated passion for identifying talents and strengths in others
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Facilitation/presentation experience with large groups
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Track record indicative of high business acumen, including the ability to understand general business
  • Experience recruiting and conducting advanced Boolean sourcing techniques
  • Experience using an ATS
  • Computer proficiency including email, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Windows, and applicant tracking systems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve significant results while working independently and with minimal supervision
  • Proficient communicating in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately read and interpret company communications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 30% travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Spanish speaking strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ in a distribution or manufacturing client
  • Experience training, leading, or influencing a team or group
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across teams without direct authority
  • Food service distribution experience
  • Behavioral-based interviewing experience
  • Experience sourcing candidates and recruiting in a distribution, manufacturing, or similar high-volume environment
  • Experience supporting a start-up business
  • Experience leading through change
  • SPHR or PHR Certification
  • iCIMS Applicant Tracking System experience
