Sr. Staff GaN Product Engineer

About the role

AOS designs, develops, and globally supplies a broad range of power semiconductors, including Power MOSFET, IGBT, IPM, TVS, GaN/SiC, Power IC, and Digital Power products. This position works with Design Engineers, Product Engineers, and Applications Engineers to develop new power ICs. The Senior Staff Test Engineer will be an individual contributor with minimal supervision in ATE hardware development, test software development, data analysis, and strong fundamentals of root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Track project schedules using Smartsheet and NPI fab lot status.
• Work with marketing, product engineering (PE), and device teams to manage NPI gates.
• Collaborate with PE and applications engineering (AE) teams to ensure datasheets are completed on time.
• Ensure projects stay on track and work with package R&D team for bonding diagrams and package support.
• Manage qualification activity for GaN products, including defining qualification methodology with reliability engineers.
• Manage wafers for qualification and lot start requests for NPI.
• Participate in weekly GaN project management calls.
• Perform yield analysis and tracking, including establishing PAT/GDBN and SYL/SBL.
• Generate CP and FT reports for engineering and qualification lots.
• Define CP, FT, and QC test plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience.
• MS degree or above.
• GaN power experience required.
