Sr Staff Endpoint Systems Engineer

The Endpoint Engineering team is a global organization responsible for the design, standardization, and lifecycle management of corporate, R&D, and manufacturing endpoints, operating with a strong focus on security, reliability, and user experience. We partner closely with Security, Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, and R&D to deliver consistent, scalable, and compliant endpoint solutions worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical direction and standards for Windows and macOS endpoints across Corporate, R&D, and Manufacturing environments
• Design scalable, secure, and supportable endpoint architectures using modern management platforms such as Intune, MECM, and Jamf
• Lead and manage complex endpoint projects from planning to execution
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Manufacturing IT, and R&D teams to ensure endpoint solutions meet compliance, validation, and audit requirements
• Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex endpoint issues and architectural decisions
• Establish and enforce endpoint standards, best practices, and lifecycle processes to drive consistency and operational excellence globally
• Develop and enforce systems policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and security
• Mentor and influence senior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and best‑practice alignment (without direct people management)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 13+ years related experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, and Python with a proven track record of developing scalable automation solutions
• Experience driving automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using tools such as GitHub, Terraform, and AWX is highly desired
• Strong experience designing and operating endpoint management solutions using tools such as Intune, MECM, and Jamf at enterprise scale
• Proficiency in endpoint security, hardening, and configuration management
• Ability to influence without authority, clearly communicating technical direction and mentoring other engineers through design reviews and best‑practice guidance
• Remote workplace: home office with no required commute to a Dexcom site; hybrid option available if within commuting distance (typically 75 miles/120km)

Pay

$141,800.00 - $236,400.00
