Sr. Endpoint Engineer
About the role
The Senior Endpoint Engineer will support Intune administration and engineering, manage Windows Update for Business, create and deploy Intune configurations, policies, and settings, and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot issues.
Responsibilities
- Support Intune administration and engineering, to include compliance policies for conditional access, application deployment and patching, management and troubleshooting
- Use Windows Update for Business to keep Windows workstations patched to correct levels
- Create and deploy Intune configurations, policies, and settings
- Manage and maintain Windows 11 workstation baseline configurations
- Support and troubleshooting for Windows Autopilot
- Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
- Packaging software and updates for deployment in the test and production environments
- Create reports on device compliance, application deployment, patch management, and software inventory
- Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks
- Respond to escalated service desk/team requests
- Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers
- Communicate effectively (in oral and written form) with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments
- Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met
- Participates in special projects as required
Requirements
- Ability to attain DHS EOD
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Intune experience, supporting software packaging and patching
- Windows Autopilot experience
- Expert knowledge of packaging, testing, deployment, and issue remediation
- Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Solid understanding of Azure Active Directory
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense DHS EOD clearance as a condition and continuation of employment*

- Strong knowledge of Windows, Intune, Autopilot, Enterprise Patching, PKI/Certificates, Azure Active Directory, Virtualization, Cloud, and scripting

Pay
Pay rate on contract: $65 - $75 per hour
Pay rate upon conversion: $130,000 - $145,000
