Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect - Communications Development Services, CDS, AWS WWSO ProdApps EUC&Other

About the role

This role will provide thought leadership and operate with a high degree of autonomy and visibility as part of our worldwide specialist team. This role will be located in the United States and have global responsibilities working with sales, product marketing and product management.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical workshops that accelerate technology adoption and customer enablement across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notification channels
• Create comprehensive best practices documentation and implementation guides for multi-channel communication strategies
• Direct AWS Solutions Architects, Sales, and Partner teams across multiple engagements within each customer to drive targeted outcomes and consistent advice and outcomes
• Develop industry leading customer-facing resources based on projected customer needs and current demand
• Develop and maintain personal relationships with key industry personnel and policy makers

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Amazon SES, AWS End User Messaging, or multi-channel communication platforms
• Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
• A background working in a regulated industry such as financial services, healthcare, and public sector is a plus

Skills

• Experience with email deliverability, SMS messaging, WhatsApp Business API, or push notification services

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
