Sr Specialist, Security Operations
About the role
The Sr. Specialist, Security Operations supports the execution of physical and personnel security programs in a dynamic corporate environment. This role partners closely with the Security team, Facilities, IT, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure security activities, facility requirements, and personnel actions comply with customer, federal, and company regulations, including U.S. government classified program requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and working knowledge of physical security technologies, construction security standards, and compliance requirements. This individual must be able to operate effectively across cross-functional teams while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Position is located onsite in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of physical and operational security standards to ensure facilities, construction, and modifications comply with federal and company security requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and functional verification of security equipment, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and other protective technologies; document findings and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready security documentation and records in support of regulatory reviews and inspections.
