What you’ll do
- Integrate and validate vehicle cybersecurity mechanisms across distributed ECU architectures.
- Perform security testing for secure boot, secure flashing, ECU authentication, secure diagnostics, vehicle communication security, OTA security validation.
- Validate implementation of cybersecurity controls aligned with ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, OEM cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop and execute penetration and vulnerability testing strategies for vehicle systems.
- Support threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) activities.
- Validate cryptographic services, key provisioning, certificate handling, and secure communication protocols.
- Support integration and verification of functional safety requirements aligned with ISO 26262.
- Validate safety-critical software and system behavior across ECU and vehicle-level integrations.
- Execute and automate fault injection testing, safety mechanism validation, watchdog verification, diagnostic coverage analysis, fail-safe and fail-operational testing.
- Verify safety requirements traceability and test coverage.
- Collaborate with system safety, platform, and software teams during safety validation activities.
- Design and execute edge-case scenarios power loss during flashing, ignition/arbitration cycles mid-update and reliability with network interruptions (packet loss, latency spikes).
- Validate recovery strategies, rollback behavior, ECU reprogramming resilience to ensure no-brick behavior for safety-critical ECUs.
- Design scalable regression test suites for consistent behavior across simulated and real-world environments across SIL, HIL and vehicle infrastructure.
- Analyze large-scale CAN/Ethernet logs for intermittent failures, cross-ECU timing mismatches, system-level integration issues.
