Sr Specialist Marketing Operations

About the role

This Senior Specialist Product Marketing role is based in New York, NY and is 50% dedicated to ESPN while sitting within the *** Streaming team. The position focuses on managing transactional subscriber communications, including legally required messages such as price changes, terms of service updates, billing failures, and other critical notifications across email and in-app platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage transactional communication templates across email and in-app, including changes to price, terms of service, billing failures, and other critical updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product, to ensure seamless execution of communication plans.
• Analyze and interpret data to measure the effectiveness of executions and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Work across technical teams for UMP and Cannonball.
• Set up and run tests to deliver on KPIs and goals.
• Ensure all communications are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain a content calendar for transactional communications to ensure timely and accurate delivery of updates.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations, technical, or product marketing roles.
• HTML/CSS/SSJS experience.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
