Sr Specialist Inventory Management

About the role

As a Sr. Specialist Inventory Management at Star Construction, you will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory on materials necessary to complete jobs.

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in maintaining proper inventory on materials necessary to complete jobs.
• Responsible for filling out daily production reports.
• Responsible for picking up materials as needed from supplier(s) and/or customer.
• Assists crews and subcontractors with getting materials needed to complete jobs.
• Assists in keeping Star yard clean and organized.
• Assists in receiving material(s) from supplier(s) into warehouse to include operation of forklifts and other powered equipment.
• Maintains minimum and maximum inventory levels to ensure ability to keep crews working while maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Ensures paper and electronic reporting to the corporate office is completed completely and timely to ensure proper billing.
• Ensures paper and electronic reporting and ordering to the customer to ensure accounts payable guidelines are met as well as customer requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Class A CDL is preferred.
• Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 100 pounds several times each day.
• Endurance for long periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year.
