Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance image processing tools and techniques
- Create software solutions for EO data analysis
- Evaluate image quality and sensor performance
- Support the delivery of operational capabilities to intelligence analysts and mission stakeholders
- Algorithm development
- Testing and validation
- Documentation
- Training
- Techical support for image exploitation systems operating in classified environments
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility
- Master's degree in Image Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in image science, image processing, remote sensing, algorithm development, or scientific software engineering
- Proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python
- Experience with EO sensor systems, image enhancement, and image quality analysis
- Familiarity with TIFF, HDF5, NITF, and other imagery formats
Qualifications
- PhD in a related scientific discipline (preferred)
- Experience supporting NRO, NGA, NSIC, NASIC, or other Intelligence Community organizations (preferred)
- Experience with machine learning, GPU processing, or advanced image enhancement techniques (preferred)
- Knowledge of space-based EO sensor phenomenology (preferred)
