Sr Sourcing Specialist Global Procurement

About the role

The Sr Sourcing Specialist Global Procurement role involves end-to-end management of assigned categories, including strategy development, sourcing plan execution, and project optimization to enhance value. Additionally, the role supports strategic sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Strive towards continuous vendor improvement and effectively manage relationships with key category vendors and business stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain vendor and customer relationships, and assist in ensuring accountability within the managed category and tracking performance.
• Align with stakeholders and business leaders on their needs and provide Project Management and support for multiple projects within budget and on time.
• Ensure continuous quality and service from suppliers to support efficient business operations.
• Accountable for category spend savings targets and objectives.

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Sound contract management and drive continuous value out of the contract.
• Lead category supplier relationships and sourcing opportunities, including RFPs, negotiations, etc.

Skills

• Strong contract management skills.
• Effective negotiation and relationship management.

Pay

$78,700.00 - $128,700.00 annually
