Sr. Sourcing Recruiter, AWS Science

Join the AWS Science Recruiting team and help identify and hire the world's most exceptional scientific and technical minds. We hire science talent spanning domains including AI/ML, NLP, Computer Vision, and more. You'll work across all Amazon businesses, advising hiring managers on hiring strategy while building relationships with technical leaders. The candidates you engage will influence decisions affecting billions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Search Design: Develop multi-channel strategies attracting world-class contributors. Map target companies and research institutions, engage at conferences, and generate referral leads. Build talent networks across technology domains and tap industry sources for ongoing candidate pools.
• Talent Advisory: Partner with hiring teams to educate on market trends, talent availability, and competitive landscape. Conduct ongoing company and talent mapping to inform search strategy and deliver market-relevant insights.
• Candidate Development: Build candidate pipelines through targeted engagement, screening, and interviews. Guide candidates through the onsite process while coaching hiring teams on best interviewing practices.

Requirements

• Research acumen: Learn technical domains quickly, craft effective search strategies, excel at candidate identification, engagement, and creative sourcing.
• Strategic judgment: Think strategically while executing tactically, relentlessly high standards, results-oriented.
• Collaboration: Team leader and member who believes individual wins are team wins.
• 3+ years passive candidate generation in high-tech markets, experience advising hiring leaders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate and/or search firm progressive recruiting including full life cycle recruiting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across other functional areas of talent acquisition, ideally diversity recruiting, research or analytics.
• Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.

Pay

• USA, CA, Santa Clara: $151,600.00 - $205,100.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Bellevue: $137,900.00 - $186,500.00 USD annually
