Sr. Sourcing Analyst
About the role
Support the RFP processes by gathering requirements, evaluating supplier responses, and comparing cost structures.
Participate in new supplier onboarding, ensuring documentation and certifications meet regulatory and quality requirements.
Analyze historical spend to identify cost-saving opportunities and consolidation strategies.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and forecasting models to support sourcing decisions.
Maintain organized contract records, track renewal dates, and support updates to pricing, terms, and supplier obligations.
Analyze KPI results to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement within the supplier base.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations related to government and defense-related procurement.
Track purchase order acknowledgments, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve delivery or scheduling issues; update ERP systems accordingly.
Ensure timely invoice receipt to support accurate processing and cash flow management.

Key Procurement Performance Indicators: Improve key procurement performance indicators including on-time delivery, cost savings, budget adherence, payment terms, and supplier delay impacts.

Requirements
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of government and defense-related procurement regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Experience in managing large-scale procurement processes.
- Experience with financial analysis and budgeting.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
