Sr Sourcing Analyst
Job Description
Participating in cross functional calls with both internal and external stakeholders
Reviewing quotes and comparing quoted price vs. standard costs
Negotiating quotes with suppliers
Providing periodic updates to leadership team
Analyzing risks from a sourcing perspective
Working extensively with suppliers as well as various internal stakeholders
Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of custom engineered products.
Acquires and maintains understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends and supplier technology road maps.
Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds.
Lead project development and project plans that define scope, timeline, budget, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years' experience in Project Management
- 3+ years' experience in Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Financial & Cost Modeling (Excel / Advanced Tools) expertise
- Strong Ownership Mindset
- Problem Solving
