Responsibilities
- Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
- Working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform
- Developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies and broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
- Representing AWS well within the customer’s environment and driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
- Thinking strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Requirements
- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Qualifications
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess customer-facing, grit, and technology skills that will allow them to represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 annually.
