Sr. Solutions Architect

About the role

We are looking for experienced pre-sales professionals with a successful track record helping large enterprises become more data-driven. The role involves defining and directing the technical strategy for our largest and most important accounts, leading to more widespread use of our products and wider and deeper adoption of ML & AI.

Responsibilities

• Work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
• Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
• Implement the technical strategy in the account, aligning with the overall strategy
• Build a movement of technical champions within the account
• Provide structured mentorship for other team members

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with large (> $1m ARR) enterprises in the Retail and CPG space
• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or supporting sales activities
• Strong background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership
• Experience with big data, data science, and cloud technologies
• Proven track record in designing and implementing big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java

• Technical expertise in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data
• Ability to understand the relevance and application of ML & AI within Retail and CPG use cases

Pay

The pay range for this role is $219,100—$301,300 USD.
