About the role
The Sr. Solutions Architect, Retail - CPG is responsible for defining and directing the technical strategy for large enterprise accounts, focusing on the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors. This role involves working closely with Account Executives to help these enterprises become more data-driven through the implementation of Databricks' products and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with 1-5 clients as the main technical voice for Databricks
- Lead customers on a transformational journey, helping them evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
- Implement the technical strategy in the account, aligning with the overall strategy
- Build a movement of technical champions within the account
- Provide structured mentorship for other team members
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience working with large (> $1m ARR) enterprises in the Retail and CPG space
- 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or supporting sales activities
- Strong background in value selling, technical account management, and technical leadership
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP or full lifecycle data science solutions
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java

Pay
The pay range for this role is $219,100—$301,300 USD.
