About the role
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join AWS's Media, Entertainment, Games & Sports vertical. This role will focus on helping studio, post-production, and content creation customers adopt AI services and architectures to transform their creative and operational workflows.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to major studio and content creation customers on GenAI adoption strategies
- Design and architect solutions leveraging cloud solutions for media workflows (script analysis, content generation, VFX pipeline automation, metadata enrichment, dubbing/localization, etc.)
- Build and deliver proof-of-concept implementations, reference architectures, and technical content tailored to studio audiences
- Partner with AWS service teams to shape the product roadmap based on customer feedback
- Collaborate with Account Solutions Architects and Account Managers to identify and progress solutions that deliver value to customers
- Present at industry events and create thought leadership content
- Contribute to internal enablement and upskilling peers on M&E workflow solutions
- Engage with partner ISVs and SIs in building solutions

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 2+ years of practical machine learning experience
- Knowledge of video production crews, live streaming technologies, studio workflows, edit and post- production techniques, production calendars and staffing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years working directly with studios, post-production facilities, VFX companies, or media technology vendors
- Excellent communication skills - ability to present complex technical concepts to both engineering teams and creative executives
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
- Direct experience with large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, or multimodal foundation models in production settings
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar managed AI/ML platforms
- Experience with media-specific AI use cases: automated QC, content analysis, synthetic media generation, AI-assisted editing, intelligent metadata tagging, virtual production
- Understanding of media standards and formats
- Track record of thought leadership - published papers, conference talks, patents, or open-source contributions
