Sr. Solution Architect , Data & AI

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Solution Architect, Data & AI to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will shape cloud modernization and data platform strategy for a complex enterprise environment. The architect will define target-state architectures, set technical guardrails, and guide teams through the migration of critical workloads from AWS to GCP. A strong focus of the position is building scalable data and AI capabilities while ensuring architectural consistency, governance, and operational readiness across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $117,500 – $234,500 annually Responsibilities Lead the architecture strategy and technical governance for cloud modernization initiatives Define target-state architectures and migration roadmaps for AWS-to-GCP transition Establish cloud architecture standards and design principles Architect scalable data and AI platforms on GCP Guide engineering teams on migration best practices and operational readiness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Data Platform Architecture 5+ years designing and delivering large-scale cloud solutions on GCP, AWS, or Azure Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery and Vertex AI Experience with Lakehouse Architectures and Data Governance Benefits Health Care Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Retirement Benefits Paid vacation, sick, and personal leave plus paid holidays Short-term and long-term disability Tuition Assistance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
