About the role

The Senior Software Licensing Analyst – SAP will serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on SAP licensing, providing remote-based domain expertise to Rimini Street clients, prospects, and internal teams. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to assess SAP license or support policy concerns, offering consultative advice, and creating collateral in collaboration with sales, legal, and marketing teams. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Global License Advisory Services and offers remote work flexibility from a U.S. home office.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients and prospects to identify and assess SAP license or support policy concerns.
  • Provide detailed guidance on SAP audit processes and address client audit/compliance concerns.
  • Articulate SAP licensing or vendor support options and considerations.
  • Analyze and report on SAP license usage and provide asset management guidance using industry-leading software asset management solutions.
  • Build rapport with Rimini Street client-facing teams and become the trusted advisor on SAP license or support policy questions.
  • Stay updated on industry and vendor activities or policy changes in the SAP licensing space.
  • Create requisite collateral in collaboration with sales, legal, and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • University undergraduate degree in IT, accounting, business, or a combination of studies and/or experience. Industry certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of client-facing experience in IT, software asset management, consulting, and/or audit.
  • 3–5 years of experience with SAP license audit, SAP contracts, or SAP asset management.
  • Deep understanding of SAP license audit processes and compliance risk mitigation techniques.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP license metrics, products, entitlements, and contract terms.
  • Experience with one or more software asset management tools.
  • Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from C-suite executives to system administrators.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $103,000 – $154,000, depending on skills, experience, and location. Actual compensation will be based on applicable skills and professional experience.
