Sr. Software Integration Engineer

Telework: None Basic Requirements Security+ Cert10 years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline5 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree Job Description The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the test, evaluation, integration, and troubleshooting of the HPC software stack and related system issues. Required Experience Experience with the Linux CLI, and the Linux suite of toolsExtensive recent experience using Bash/Python to develop scripts Solid understanding of the Slurm resource management and job scheduling toolExperience with integration, evaluation, and system administration of HPC systemsExperience troubleshooting HPC system problems, including basic system administration tasks, including software stack issues and hardware issuesExperience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Salt and AnsibleFamiliar with HPC shared file systems such as Lustre, GPFS, and PanasasFamiliar with system monitoring tools such as Ganglia and NagiosFamiliar with acceleration technologies such as GPU, FPGA, and ASICsFamiliar with high-speed network interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand and SlingshotFamiliar with open-source industry-standard HPC benchmark toolingAbility to troubleshoot problems with a rigorous, analytical approach that enables diagnosis of root causes and discovery of mitigation/solution paths Desired Experience Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Experience supporting HPC large-scale systems and customers Salary: $250,000 - $260,000 annually Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents – available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match – immediate vesting.
