Sr. Software Engineer- Integration

For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Integration to join their team. This role focuses on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Formulates system scope and objectives through research to design and develop information systems.
• Modifies application systems to optimize functional requirements including performance criteria.
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents applications and scripts.
• Develops and implements test plans and verification methods for IT systems.
• Responds to system failures to minimize downtime and prevent future incidents.
• Researches software and hardware products to support management in budgeting decisions.
• Acts as a technical expert throughout the development and implementation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (4 years).
• 5 years of systems and programming experience.
• 1 year of experience with IT concepts and application development methodology.
• 1 year of expert knowledge in at least one programming language used at BCBST.
• Strong technical background in designing integration solutions with an emphasis on interoperability, security, and performance.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to integration and application development.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams.

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
