About the Opportunity

The AI Customer Insights Engineer develops scalable intelligence workflows that help Customer Success teams make earlier, smarter, and more strategic decisions. This role transforms customer data into actionable insights, supporting customer health assessments, adoption tracking, risk identification, and renewal forecasting. This early-career position is well suited for professionals transitioning into analytics and software development. The role offers the opportunity to apply Python, SQL, automation, and AI technologies while working closely with Customer Success and Analytics Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement account-level Slack summaries for Customer Success Managers and leadership.
  • Transform product usage and contract data into actionable operational insights.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to build and enhance data pipelines.
  • Develop Python-based automation to scale the delivery of customer insights.
  • Contribute to customer health scoring and renewal prediction models.
  • Identify indicators of customer risk, expansion opportunities, and product adoption.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and modern coding workflows to improve development speed and quality.
  • Build lightweight LLM-powered synthesis workflows where appropriate.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Analytics Engineers to understand workflows and translate insights into product and engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in analytics, engineering, or technical roles, including internships.
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong Python programming skills.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with large language models and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
  • Strong written communication and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about customer behavior, business outcomes, and causal mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools, product analytics platforms, Slack automation or APIs, and modern data pipelines.

Pay

Base salary of $115,000 USD plus variable bonus incentives.
