Sr. Software Engineer (PHP)

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile team to develop and maintain software features
• Conduct thorough testing and review of team code
• Diagnose and resolve bugs effectively
• Work alongside front-end developers and designers to implement features
• Utilize modern technologies to enhance performance for a large user base
• Participate in guilds to improve coding practices and share knowledge
• Propose enhancements to architecture and workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of PHP experience with an OOP framework
• Proficient in MySQL
• Experience with modular and pluggable architecture
• Familiarity with REST API development
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like PHPUnit
• Ability to address database, caching, and filesystem race conditions
• Understanding of security best practices and vulnerabilities handling

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
