Job Details
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong .NET (C#) background and prior experience developing applications in PHP/Laravel. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from PHP into the Microsoft stack or someone who is equally comfortable working across both technologies. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for a mature SaaS platform while helping support an evolving technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in a SaaS environment.
- Build new features primarily using .NET (C#) while also supporting existing PHP/Laravel applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
- Review project requirements and translate technical specifications into production-quality code.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and help drive engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience with .NET (C#)
- Previous hands-on experience developing applications with PHP/Laravel
- Experience with React (preferred) or Angular
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
- Ability to balance technical debt with business priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a collaborative Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within SaaS platforms
- Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications
- Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
- Passion for mentoring teammates and improving engineering processes
Pay
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
