Sr. Software Engineer (MANTL)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Admin team, you will lead the effort to deprecate legacy configuration bottlenecks in favor of a sophisticated, automated ecosystem. Success means delivering a mature Configuration Lifecycle Management system, including 'Draft & Publish' workflows and automated promotion paths, to ensure zero-downtime updates for our Financial Institutions (FIs).

Responsibilities

• Lead the effort to deprecate legacy configuration bottlenecks in favor of a sophisticated, automated ecosystem.
• Deliver a mature Configuration Lifecycle Management system, including 'Draft & Publish' workflows and automated promotion paths, to ensure zero-downtime updates for our FIs.
• Tackle high-stakes problems in IAM and Tenant Management within our Admin Console.

Requirements

• You love writing clean, thoroughly documented, and well-tested code, with an eye for long term viability and performance.
• You measure twice and code once when writing features, placing an emphasis on error-handling, logging, and edge cases for every service you write.
• You enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex product asks into elegant solutions.
• You are comfortable and experienced with system design, and not only have architectural opinions but are comfortable writing, speaking, and advocating for them.
• You approach architectural challenges not with answers but with questions, and from those questions decide upon the best approach, knowing that there is no best solution, only different sets of tradeoffs to be made.
• You enjoy providing technical guidance, suggestions, and code reviews for your teammates, using your knowledge to raise the bar of their work as well.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional experience with back end technologies (Node.js, Python, Go, TypeScript etc.).
• Experience with (ReactJS, NestJS).
• Well versed with REST APIs.
• Experience working in an agile SCRUM environment.
• Well versed with domain driven design.
• Well versed with Microservice architecture.

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Node.js, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with ReactJS and NestJS.
• Understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM.
• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Microservices architecture.

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $165,000
