Responsibilities
- Independently implement customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design to production
- Build and enhance reliable APIs and web services, driving innovation for new features
- Evaluate technical decisions based on speed, maintainability, customer impact, and scalability
- Collaborate with various teams to deliver cohesive customer-centric experiences
- Promote and exemplify the company’s cultural principles as the company scales
Qualifications
- 18+ months of software engineering experience in delivering customer-facing systems
- Proven experience in backend services, APIs, and web application feature development
- Experience in writing clean, maintainable code and peer code reviews
- Strong skills in making technical trade-offs regarding performance, scalability, and speed
- Certification or demonstrated competency in relevant technologies (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Competency in using various metrics and logs for debugging and reliability improvements
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with engineering and cross-functional partners
- Interest or experience in AI and LLM development for automation
